UPDATE: Free school meals will not be cut, says PM

For those of you worried about speculation in the media that removing Universal Infant Free School Meals is high on the list of cuts the Government wishes to make:

David Cameron has confirmed during Prime Minister’s Questions that Universal Infant Free School Meals will not be scrapped. When challenged by MP Sharon Hodgson about the potential axing of the scheme, Cameron said:
“I am immensely proud that (it) was a government I led that introduced this policy {Universal Infant Free School Meals}. I’m proud of what we’ve done and we’ll be keeping it.”
